#99, 24c Gray Lilac "F" Grill, tied together with 1869 issue  6c ultramarine (#115) to double rate imprint cover to Paris, France by wedges cancels, matching "San Francisco Cal Apr 27" origin postmark, blue "Etats Unis Serv. Am. Calais 20 Mai 69" French entry and red boxed "PD" handstamp, Paris arrival backstamp, the 24c grill usages on cover are scarcer than generally recognized, the second earliest reported usage of the 6c, ex Salzer, very fine  $5,000
