Pkt 19 Paid Sep 3" exchange datestamp, London Paid arrival and re-mailed to St. Petersburg, Russia with "London Paid Sp 15 62" postmark, red oval "P" handstamp, red "Aachen Franco" transit datestamp, docketed on verso as received on September 20, 1862, ex White, Gore and Haas, extremely fine gem Massachusetts


To England Plus Carrier, tissue paper cover to London with 1c blue (#63) used with 24c red lilac (#70), target cancels, red "New York Am Pkt 3 Dec 27" exchange datestamp, "London Paid JA 9 63" arrival, extremely fine to the mails carrier usage $1,500

#99, 24c Gray Lilac "F" Grill, tied together with 1869 issue  6c ultramarine (#115) to double rate imprint cover to Paris, France by wedges cancels, matching "San Francisco Cal Apr 27" origin postmark, blue "Etats Unis Serv. Am. Calais 20 Mai 69" French entry and red boxed "PD" handstamp, Paris arrival backstamp, the 24c grill usages on cover are scarcer than generally recognized, the second earliest reported usage of the 6c, ex Salzer, very fine  $5,000
