Ship, blue straight line handstamp tying 3c rose (#65) to cover to Cambridge, Massachusetts, matching Due 2 cts due handstamp and "Baltimore Md Oct 31" postmark, rated as a ship rate prior to July 1, 1863 with partial payment recognized, extremely fine $350

Ship, red straight line handstamp, presumably of St. Augustine, tying 3c rose (#65, faulty) to cover to St. Augustine, Florida, addressed to a soldier (the son of Brig. General Henry Walton Wessels) and no additional due levied, this can be explained because the cover is endorsed to be carried by the (U.S.S.) Savannah and the Captain was not entitled to any fee, cover reduced slightly at left, extremely fine and rare usage $700
